Golden hamster

The golden hamster makes for the perfect pet for both young and old. They are easy to keep, easy to tame and really love being cuddled and petted. Please note, golden hamsters are crepuscular animals. This means that they are most active at dusk.

Golden hamsters, in contrast to many other small mammals, prefer to be alone in their cage. They are solitary, so they like to be in charge in their cage. When you keep multiple hamsters together, there is a big chance of fights.
These animals can get up to 2 to 3 years old.
