I am Nico-Jan Koenders from Westervoort, Netherlands. I have had pigeons since 1979.
For years I played short, middle and long distance. In 2002 I was national champion with the youngsters. In 2003 I was best fancier WHZB with the old pigeons.
In 2006-2007, I won the national 'Dagfondspiegel'. In 2008, I was also the best in the 3-year 'Dagfondspiegel'. I immediately achieved nice successes: third at a "Marathon Noord Middaglossing". I was designated champion of Department 8.
In 2020, things went well. Again designated champion of Department 8. Overall Superfondclub champion. And second at the "Noordelijke Unie" on the multi-day long distance. A great start to your career.
