I am Chris Hebberecht from Evergem, Belgium. I have had a passion for pigeons from a very young age, also because of my father.
I only play the national long distance and marathon races, which appeal to me the most.
This year I was lucky to win the first prize at Marseille, which was an incredible achievement, especially because I do not have a favourable location.Taking into account the west wind, the pigeons came from the Rhône valley, from the east, which is certainly not conducive to winning a national first prize.
In the last years I also won the national first prize on St. Vincent. I have also been Belgian champion twice in marathon.I had the winning national ace pigeon in marathon, the winning national ace pigeon in long distance, and I have been Belgian champion twice in long distance. I only play with widowers in the national races, not with hens.
