Sticky fruit parakeet treats


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of Prestige Premium Budgies
  • ½ cup chopped dried blueberries
  • ¼ cup ground coconut
  • 2 tablespoons chopped peanuts
  • 1 tablespoon almonds
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • butter

Extra materials: baking tray, mixing bowl

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven at 250°C
  2. Crush the nuts with a mortar
  3. Add the nuts and the fruit to a large bowl
  4. Add a tablespoon of honey (until the mixture sets)
  5. Sprinkle some flour over the mixture and knead
  6. Put the mixture on a buttered baking tray and make sure the mixture is flattened
  7. Bake the mixture for 5 minutes
  8. Chill the mixture until it reaches room temperature
  9. Give the mixture with fresh fruit and vegetables
