Long fibres for herbivores

All the teeth continue to grow during the whole life in rabbits and herbivorous rodent species. In rabbits, incisors grow 2 to 2.4 mm per week. In order to avoid teeth problems, sufficient wearing of the teeth during chewing is indispensable.

Unique for the Complete diets is the addition of very long fibers to the extruded pellets.

These long fibres sustain:
  • optimal gut function
  • sufficient teeth wearing
  • a restricted energy intake

Moreover, palatability tests demonstrated that the taste of the Complete diets is greatly appreciated by rodents and dwarf rabbits.
