Club support to bird clubs
1. Goal of the Versele-Laga Fidelity Club
Versele-Laga is well-known for its large range of high quality petfood, a.o. for birds. But Versele-Laga wants more than just produce and sell animal feed. By means of the Fidelity Club Versele-Laga puts a lot of interesting gifts at the disposal of bird clubs. With this structural support, Versele-Laga wants to encourage and strengthen the flourishing clublife.
2. How can a bird club take part?
2.1. The members of the bird club save the Fidelity Club tokens which appear on large packs of Prestige, Prestige Premium, NutriBird and Orlux:
Prestige bird seed 15 & 20 & 25 kg = 1 point
Prestige Premium bird seed 15 & 20 kg = 2 points
NutriBird pellets 3 & 5 kg = 1 point
NutriBird pellets 10 & 15 kg = 2 points
Orlux egg food 4 & 5 kg = 2 points
Orlux soft food 5 kg = 2 points
Orlux soft food 25 kg = 4 points
2.2 The chairman or secretary of the bird club collects the Fidelity Club tokens and sticks them in the Fidelity Club savings book on the spaces provided.
2.3 When the bird club has enough tokens for the selected gifts, the chairman or the secretary sends the savings book to Versele-Laga NV, Kapellestraat 70, B-9800 Deinze, Belgium.
2.4 The selected gifts are forwarded to the chairman or secretary about six weeks later (except for club magazine covers).

3. Fidelity Club rules
3.1. Who can take part?
The Fidelity Club savings campaign is reserved exclusively for bird clubs which are affiliated with a national organisation. Individual bird-fanciers or independent groups of bird-fanciers cannot participate in this campaign. In the case of doubt, the national organisation will be asked to advise.
3.2. Savings tokens
Only original Fidelity Club savings tokens may be used for the savings campaign. These savings tokens are printed on or affixed to the packs. The objective is that all packs which are in circulation from the time the campaign is announced are provided with Fidelity Club savings tokens. No loose tokens are foreseen for older packs without tokens. Fidelity Club savings tokens are valid only when stuck in a savings book. Loose savings tokens will not be accepted.
3.3. Savings books and gifts
Fidelity Club savings books will be sent on request to the chairman or secretary of the bird club. There is no limit to the number of savings books which a bird club may submit. The number of orders must be restricted to two a year. A number of gifts can be selected with one and the same order.
To be valid, all particulars about the bird club must be completed in full on the back of the Fidelity Club savings book. The organisers may delay sending the gifts until there is complete certainty about an applicant's identity.
Covers are always delivered at the end of November. Requests should be forwarded before September 1st (incl. the required text and club logos, preferably in a digital format). Orders and deliveries at other times of the year are not possible.
The gifts selected are intended to be used exclusively for club activities and may not be sold. The gifts must be accepted as such and cannot be replaced by their monetary value under any circumstances.
Due to unforeseen circumstance, some gifts may differ from the illustration in the savings book. Any altered item will have the same value and serve the same purpose as that in the original illustration. The organisers cannot be held responsible in the event of any complaints about the quality, delivery times, etc. of the gifts selected.
3.4. Validity
The organisers reserve the right to declare null and void all the Fidelity Club savings books submitted by a bird club if there is any suspicion of fraud or improper use.
The use of non-original savings tokens leads to annulment of all savings books submitted and to cancellation of the bird club's further participation.
The Fidelity Club savings books are valid until at least December 31st 2010, but in the absence of news to the contrary, the campaign will be prolonged annually by one year to December 31st of the following year. Any discontinuation of the campaign as of December 31st of a current year will be announced in the September issue of the respective national magazines.
