Weltvogelpark Foundation established
The Weltvogelpark Walsrode has a long tradition in bird and nature conservation. The need for this work is more imminent than ever before. Therefore in order to continue and develop this tradition further into the future the Weltvogelpark has promoted the establishment of the Weltvogelpark Foundation. This new organization and independent body will cater for most of the in-situ conservation efforts of the Weltvogelpark. Its task will be to support serious and important conservation work worldwide with funds, know-how as well as coordination and organization to achieve the best possible results for nature and its birds. The foundation will be working together with government bodies and NGO's but the most important partners will remain its partner organizations such as CRAX International and International Crane Foundation as well as naturally the Weltvogelpark Walsrode.
