Moulting

For our champion pigeons, the moult is one of the most important periods of the year. Older pigeon fanciers sometimes claim that next season's prizes are won during the moult. Of course this is not a scientific fact, but there is an element of truth in it. Looking after pigeons properly through the moulting period is first and foremost all about their health and secondly about appropriate nutrition. A well-balanced moulting feed is not only high in protein but excels mainly through its very rich composition.
