| NutriBird hand-rearing |
The use of NutriBird hand-rearing food may be necessary when various indications leave no other choice of feeding method. Poor breeding pairs: experience has shown that some pairs do not succeed in rearing their chicks. Valuable birds: in this case no risk should be taken with parental behavior during rearing. Too many chicks: some species (e.g. Cockatoos) have a natural tendency to rear only one or two chicks. Big difference of age: smaller chicks can be oppressed by older nest mates (in this case and in the previous one, it is always possible to choose whether to remove the smaller or the larger chicks).
