| Guinea pigs breeds originate from South America where they have been kept as pets for thousands of years. In the 16th century they were brought to Europe by the Spanish explorers. Guinea pigs are real plant eaters, but contrary to rabbits, guinea pigs don't produce their own vitamin C. Therefore all food products for guinea pigs, made by Versele-Laga, have an adapted content of extra vitamin C. |
