Birds in the wild, garden birds, "wild" birds etc. What's in a name? All birds which are not reared or kept by people belong in this category. You see them in the street, in the park, and in the garden. The robins, the sparrows, and co can be found everywhere and they certainly liven things up.
In the past, there was almost enough food to feed all these hungry beaks throughout the year. It was only in the winter that human beings had to lend a helping hand. However, increased environmental pollution and urbanisation mean that there are no longer enough natural resources. Indeed, birds need a lot of energy to prosper. They have to survive the winter, breed, feed their chicks, moult, and such like.
It is therefore best if they can count on a regular supply of food. This can be at home in your garden, on your balcony, in a regular spot in the park, or wherever you like. They will gladly build their nests there and sing their best song for you!
